a good thing about solar energy is you are able to build a feild of solar panels in the desert, the desert is a bunch of useless space with very hot long days of sun. the solor pannels just happen to run off sunlight so why not fill the useless desert space that is un used.A home solar energy system can replace up to 80% of the electricity you currently use.
